The selected candidate will be responsible for advising and assisting with client and project demands, supporting compliance with H&S regulations, coordinating H&S measures throughout all project phases, completing necessary paperwork, and communicating effectively through appropriate channels. They will strategize the flow of H&S information across the project lifecycle, liaise with principal contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety requirements are met, advise clients on project practicality concerning CDM regulations, manage multiple CDM portfolios for internal and external clients, and collaborate with the wider Practice H&S team.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Advising and assisting with client and project demands.
2. Guiding and supporting compliance with H&S regulations.
3. Coordinating and implementing H&S measures across all construction phases.
4. Completing administration paperwork and communicating through appropriate channels.
5. Developing strategies for effective information flow during the project lifecycle.
6. Liaising with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety compliance.
7. Advising clients on project practicality regarding CDM regulations.
8. Managing multiple CDM portfolios for various clients.
9. Integrating with the wider H&S team for cohesive safety management.
Essential skills, experience, and attributes include:
* Knowledge of relevant construction legislation, CDM, and health and safety standards.
* Qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction, TechIOSH, etc.
* Membership with IMAPS.
