Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a Bank Housing Support Worker to join our team at St. Andrew's Court, Minehead. This supported housing service caters to individuals aged 18 and above living with mental illness and low-level needs. The role involves providing intensive housing management support to vulnerable tenants, supporting their independence, and promoting tenancy sustainment.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting tenants by assessing their needs and risks, promoting personalized and person-centered support.
2. Handling tenancy sign-ups, property re-lets, referrals, and daily service operations.
3. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including conducting regular inspections and managing repairs.
4. Reporting safeguarding concerns, incidents, and maintaining safety and security of the property.
5. Engaging with contractors and managing maintenance and safety checks.
6. Supporting a respectful, empathetic, and understanding environment aligned with our organizational values.
