SC Cleared Test Engineer / Systems Test Technician
Location: Portsmouth (Onsite 5 Days Per Week)
Shifts: Rotational Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
We are currently seeking a Test Engineer / Systems Test Technician to support testing and troubleshooting activities within a secure engineering environment in Portsmouth.
This role involves working on system and subsystem testing, fault investigation, quality inspection, and test documentation within a highly regulated technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and configure test equipment
* Execute system and subsystem testing activities
* Perform initial fault-finding and troubleshooting
* Conduct first-level quality inspections
* Prepare test reports and associated documentation
* Support sensor calibration and test facility preparation
* Track and support issue resolution through to closure
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience within systems testing, electronics testing, or RF testing environments
* Familiarity with RF test equipment including:
o Spectrum Analysers
o RF Simulators
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work to strict procedures and project timelines
* Good documentation and reporting skills
Clearance Requirements
Candidates must either:
* Hold active SC Clearance, or
* Be a British National eligible to undergo SC Clearance
Due to the nature of the project, all work is fully onsite and subject to additional vetting checks.
