Business Development Manager
Hybrid Role
Salary: £45,000 + bonus scheme
T2M are currently working alongside a leading licensed and accredited asbestos consultancy business to help them to recruit a Business Development Manager.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new clients to help drive business growth. You will actively promote the company's comprehensive range of services which include asbestos surveys, expert consultancy, asbestos removal and training services through client interactions and attending industry events.
Responsibilities
* Proactively prospecting new clients and promoting asbestos services to generate new leads and opportunities.
* Supporting the production and delivery of quotation documentation and sales presentations.
* Account development, up-selling, and cross-selling.
* Building and developing long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
* Preparing and undertaking a thorough hand-over to operational colleagues once each sale is closed and the contract awarded.
* Closing new business sales and final contract negotiation.
* Developing and monitoring business forecasts and budgets.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and innovations in the asbestos services sector.
* Attending industry events and exhibitions to raise company profile and network.
* Meeting with client's face to face.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
* Knowledge of the asbestos sector and potential customers.
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
* Confident in negotiation and persuasion.
* Ability to present and close deals face to face.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-facing skills.
* This is a hybrid role based in the UK and will involve regular travel to meet with clients therefore a full UK driving licence is essential
