Job Specification â Print Administrator\nLocation: Port Glasgow\nCompany: Love & Humphries Ltd,\nContract Type: Part-time initially 3 days a week, progressing to Modern Apprenticeship in Print Administration after 3 months\n\nAbout Us\nWe are a small but mighty print company with an office based in Port Glasgow, delivering high-quality printed products across multiple specialist brands including Love & Humphries, Glasgow PDC and SuperTuff Menus. Our work ranges from bespoke print solutions to durable, high-volume production, and we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We are now looking for a Print Administrator to join our growing team and support our day-to-day operations.\n\nThe Role\nAs Print Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our print operations. You will act as a first point of contact for customers and assist internal teams with administration, organisation and communication. The role is office-based.\n\nWorking Pattern\nFirst 3 months: 3 days per week (part-time. National Minimum Wage). Upon successful completion of probation: Progression to a Modern Apprenticeship and an opportunity for increased hours.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProviding administrative support to the print production team\nHandling customer enquiries via phone and email\nProcessing orders and maintaining accurate records\nUpdating job sheets and tracking print jobs\nManaging schedules and assisting with workflow coordination\nFiling, data entry and document management\nSupporting the wider team with general office duties\nRepresenting the company professionally when speaking with customers\n\nHow to Apply\nPlease send your CV and a short cover note explaining why you are suitable for this role to: sarah@lhnow.co.uk\nWe look forward to hearing from you.\n\n What We Offer\nEntry into the print industry with progression opportunities\nSupportive small team environment\nOn-the-job training and development\nModern Apprenticeship pathway Qualifications: Minimum of National 5 (SCQF Level 5) in English and Mathematics\n\nRequired Skills\nStrong administrative and organisational skills\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nConfident speaking with customers and explaining company services\nGood computer literacy (Google Suite, email, basic systems)\nReliable, proactive and detail-oriented\nAn interest in âcraft and designâ would help? (Drawing, cutting, measuring - problem solving)\n
