Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Records Manager based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What You Will Do
The Information Governance Team is a team of specialist staff who develop, monitor and oversee the implementation of NHS Ayrshire & Arran\'s Information Governance and Assurance agenda. This includes data protection, information security, freedom of information, confidentiality, Caldicott, records management and information quality. The team provide a source of specialist advice, guidance and training to all service or functional areas within and connected to NHS Ayrshire & Arran on all matters relating to information governance.
You will work regularly and extensively with colleagues and departments across the organisation, assuming operational responsibility for instilling and maintaining good records management practice across all services and closely supporting and monitoring the delivery of key records management objectives. You will be responsible for delivering a Records Management Plan for NHS Ayrshire & Arran, in compliance with the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011. This will involve developing, maintaining and implementing records management policies, procedures, guidance and training and providing specialised advice on records management issues. Key priorities include developing a central storage repository for paper corporate records and supporting departments to conduct data cleansing exercises and develop suitable file structures for all corporate records in preparation for the migration of data to new Microsoft 365 applications as part of transformational change programmes.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required
NHS Ayrshire & Arran seek an experienced and highly motivated candidate with excellent organisational skills, who is an effective communicator adept at influencing change, educated to degree level with a relevant postgraduate qualification. You will have experience and detailed knowledge of the legal and statutory obligations in respect of records management, a track record of successful change management, and well developed project management skills.

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
