Your role Mind the Kerb (a branch Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI) is looking for an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to join our busy and experienced refurbishment team. This state-of-the-art facility offers a great opportunity for a detailed and driven individual to join a reputable company and develop a career in this exciting specialist enterprise. As an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Alloy wheel repairs to the highest standard. This will include repairs to all makes and models of alloy wheels and a wide array of finishes, damage will include scratches, scuffs, dents. You will prioritise according to business needs and carry out work using cutting edge equipment and techniques and ensuring the process is completed to an exceptional high standard. The main duties of the role include: To repair scratches, scuffs and dents, on alloy wheels of all make model and styles Spray painting & Powder-coating all makes and models of Alloys To refurbish alloy wheels, by aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labelling and alloy identification To have the ability to work to a high standard within agreed workshop timeframes Basic Salary £27,500, OTE £ 35,000 per annum Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Your profile To have experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a similar Bodyshop environment working on vehicle repairs and restoration and have powder-coating and Diamond cut alloy repair experience To enjoy exceeding customer expectations and working to a high standard To have physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work To have a valid, clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK Rewards Hedin Automotive values our employees and invests in personal development and training.
