About the Job
This is a part‑time personal assistant position to support an individual within their home. The role involves providing companionship, encouraging independence, and assisting with daily routines.
Hours of Work
Casual cover: 8 hours to be covered, plus respite cover at least twice a year.
Rates of Pay
£15.50 per hour.
Tasks Involved
* Ensure safety is a priority at all times.
* Encourage interaction and independence.
* Provide companionship and sit at home with the client.
* Perform domestic duties: hoovering, bathroom cleaning, mopping, washing dishes.
* Prepare meals.

* Open, reliable, patient and friendly.
* Understanding of neurodiversity conditions.
* Punctuality is essential.
* Commitment to the role.
* Happy to work with two dogs and one cat.
Additional Information
The position requires a National Insurance number. A trial period will be necessary initially. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay allocated. The role is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) check, which will be covered by the employer.
