Wilsons Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a qualifiedPharmacy Dispensing Assistantto support our branch in Oakwood, Derby. We are looking for full-time, however, two part-time equivalents are encouraged.

Wilsons Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy chain headquartered in Sinfin, Derbyshire. We currently employ over 85 staff across 6 pharmacies throughout the Derby area. Responsibilities
* Dispensing prescriptions
* Undertake statutory pharmacy duties and responsibilities
* The promotion of pharmacy advice
* Support the work of other Pharmacy Assistants & Technicians
* Work within the team to facilitate self and colleagues’ professional development
* Apply clinical/technical knowledge to problem-solving
* Assist with the recording and reporting of adverse drug reactions
* To carry out audits as required by the senior pharmacy team
* Resolve delivery discrepancies and complete resolution logs as required
* To ensure that all documentation is correctly filed
* Attend compulsory training sessions
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum NVQ2 in Pharmacy or equivalent pharmacy qualification
* IT literate and familiar with Windows-based computer systems: Outlook, Excel, etc.
Desirable Criteria:
* Strong post-qualification experience working within busy pharmacy and dispensary environment
* Working knowledge of Analyst pharmacy software
* Access to own transport
