About the role
Working in this school as part of an established team, the desired SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with pupils with SEN and working alongside the other members of staff to promote educational values whilst working on their individual needs. This Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.
1. Attend to the pupils’ personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.
2. Support the pupils Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. To supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning.
3. Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of, and responding appropriately to individual needs.
4. Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
