This family-run business has been a leader in the engineering industry for over 20 years and has recently made a multi-million-pound investment in new premises at their head office in Newry. Thepany is focused on further growth opportunities and is expanding its team to handle an increased workload, making it an exciting time to join and contribute to its success.
Your new role
The Project Manager will oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception topletion. Typical projects include shop fitouts, restaurants, offices, labs, ranging in value from £5k up to £1 million. Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring profitability and reputation enhancement.
2. Leading andmunicating with the Install Team.
3. Preparing and managing project plans.
4. Conducting site surveys and obtaining client approvals.
5. Ensuring health and safetypliance.
6. Regularlymunicating with clients.
7. Managing budgets and procurement.
8. Handling valuations and payments.
9. Arrangingmissioning and preparing O&M manuals.
What you'll need to succeed
10. Previous Mechanical Project Management or Site Management experience.
11. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems.
12. Experience in mechanical systems installation and maintenance.
13. NVQ Level III Plumbing & Heating qualification or equivalent.
14. Proficiency in procurement and budgeting.
15. Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
16. Effectivemunication and interpersonal skills.
17. Knowledge of building regulations andpliance.
18. Full UK/Irish Driving Licence.
