Science Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)Location: Lewisham, South East London

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in science and prior school-based technician experience, who is eager to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:As a Science Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the science department across Key Stages 3-5. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare practical lessons, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure a safe and efficient working environment for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and setting up equipment and materials for science lessons
* Assisting teachers during practical sessions where required
* Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring it is in good working order
* Managing stock, ordering supplies, and organising resources
* Ensuring all health and safety regulations are strictly followed
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the science department
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school
* Strong knowledge across one or more scientific disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
* A relevant degree is preferred
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
