Reporting to: Associate Assistant Head: Behaviour and Culture (DDSL)

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic setting where no two days are the same, and where your work will have a direct and lasting impact.
What You’ll Do:
* Support the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils
* Promote positive behaviour and a strong school community ethos
* Be a visible and supportive presence around the school
* Work closely with families and external agencies to ensure wraparound care
* Help reintegrate pupils into mainstream education where appropriate
* Develop the Student Leadership Team and champion student voice
* Collaborate with the SENCo to ensure individual needs are met
* Monitor behaviour and attendance data to drive early intervention strategies
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children in a secondary school or alternative provision
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
* The ability to work effectively with pupils, parents, staff, and external professionals
* A deep understanding of child development, behaviour management, and inclusion
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field
* A calm, proactive, and solution-focused approach to challenges
