* Work closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to ensure fully integrated system designs.
* Support engineering management and Lead Engineers with task planning, workload allocation, and delivery against project deadlines.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers within the team, including onboarding and ongoing development support.
* Ensure engineering outputs are produced in a consistent, compliant format, aligned with company quality systems and regulatory requirements.
* Act as a technical point of contact for other departments, responding to design queries and information requests.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and optimise resource utilisation.
* Chair engineering‑related meetings and attend cross‑functional reviews to communicate progress, risks, and priorities.
* Promote a collaborative one‑team culture, supporting other departments where required to ensure consistent engineering delivery.
Qualifications
* Degree‑qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable but not essential.
