Description About the role: Our business is growing and we are looking for a Paralegal to join the team to provide support and work within the property team. Your primary role will be working within our dedicated asset management team, working primarily for property investors, assisting them with the management of their assets across all sectors, including industrial and logistics, office and retail. We work closely with our development and investment team, our property litigation team, and our construction and planning teams in order to deliver a complete real estate service to our investor clients. You will work within one of our asset management sub-teams who act for the largest provider of properties for small to medium sized businesses in England and Wales. You will work as part of a small team to process high volume transactions from instruction through to completion using a case management system. This is a role which requires excellent communication skills as you will be dealing directly with clients, other solicitors and tenants on a daily basis, via email and telephone. You will be expected to work hard to provide excellent client service in accordance with KPIs and a keen eye for detail and process is of paramount importance. Previous experience of working in a legal environment would be helpful but is not essential as training will be given. You should be able to: Manage your workload to tight deadlines, remain calm under pressure and prioritise your workload effectively; Work in a team environment (this may include working as part of a bigger project team) and support your colleagues; Communicate appropriately and confidently at all levels within the team and the wider business as well as with clients, agents and other parties in person, by phone, letter, email or other communication means; Produce good quality documents (based on templates) in accordance with instructions. You should have: Effective organisation skills; Attention to detail and numeracy; Good interpersonal and communication skills; Good keyboard, IT and data entry skills; Problem solving abilities.
