Interim Deputy Head of HR Public Sector | 3-Month Contract We are recruiting an Interim Deputy Head of HR on behalf of a public sector organisation. This is an initial 3-month assignment, supporting the Head of HR in a senior leadership capacity during a period of operational demand and change. The Role You will provide hands-on, senior HR leadership across a complex, unionised environment. Key responsibilities include: * Leading complex employee relations and casework * Advising senior leaders on HR risk, policy and workforce issues * Supporting organisational change and service improvement activity * Providing leadership to the HR team and deputising for the Head of HR as required About You You will be an experienced senior HR professional with: * Strong employee relations expertise and sound knowledge of UK employment law * Experience operating at senior level within the public sector or similarly complex organisations * Experience of working with Unions * Confidence working in fast-paced, operational environments Experience within the public sector is essential.
