Job Description
3. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
4. Prepare and process payroll transactions in compliance with regulations.
5. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
6. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
7. Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end processes.
8. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submission of required documentation.
9. Provide support for audits by organising and preparing relevant records.
10. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding financial matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
11. Proven experience in bookkeeping or as an Accounts Assistant for an accountancy practice.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
