Bank Registered Nurse (Darlington | Flexible | £23.50/hr) – Bank role at St Martins Care.
Location: Willow Green Care Home, Eastbourne Road. The service premises, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company with appropriate notice.
Job Description: St Martins Care are recruiting for a Bank Registered Nurse to work at their busy Nursing and Residential Care Home. The provider offers paid PIN, mentoring/coaching, and ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
* Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance wellbeing.
* Provide nursing care in accordance with best practice, policy and procedures, standards, regulatory requirements, and under the direction of the Manager.
* Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements.
* Supervise staff and ensure efficiency of service operations.
* Work within the NMC Code of Conduct and promote welfare of individuals supported by the service.

* Develop effective working relationships with colleagues within the service.
* Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for residents.
* Maintain and develop relationships with residents’ loved ones.

Essential Criteria
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Qualification.
* Registered with the NMC (or relevant body).
* Good English (written and verbal).
Skills
* Maintain care plans/care records and audit records in line with policy.
* Effective communication to build rapport and inform colleagues and professionals about residents’ needs.
* Problem-solving to address situations quickly and report protection concerns.
* Assist residents with daily tasks per care plans (bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, bathroom).
* Supervise staff assisting residents.
* Provide nursing care according to policy, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Medicine management in line with legal/regulatory requirements.
Experience
* Previous experience in a similar environment.
