Location: London, The Harley Street Clinic and The Princess Grace Hospital
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, rota between 8am and 8pm; option to move to a four‑day working pattern.
Contract: Permanent.
Salary: £29,000 per year.
About the Role
Radiology Department Assistant in Imaging; patient‑facing role within a supportive, close‑knit team. Supports radiographers, nurses and consultants, keeping imaging services running smoothly and safely across ultrasound, breast imaging, MSK and specialist procedures. Time split across different imaging areas and sites, with broad clinical experience supported by experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Support radiographers and clinicians by preparing patients, rooms and equipment for imaging procedures.
* Organise and support ultrasound workflows, including chaperoning, documentation and charging processes.
* Escort patients safely within the department and between clinical areas.
* Maintain a clean, well‑stocked and safe imaging environment.
* Support departmental administration, including image transfers and data handling in line with GDPR.
Qualifications
* UK hospital experience within a clinical environment.
* A Care Certificate or equivalent.
* Confidence working directly with patients and the public.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
