Support Services Specialist
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will execute service work of medium to high complexity according to work instructions and ABB guidelines. You will deliver excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also work with customers to identify opportunities within the installed base to improve system and operational performance.
You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
2. Ensuring customer retention by providing superior customer experience and effectively communicating service timelines and expectations.
3. Identifying new service business opportunities for ABB in collaboration with customers and other ABB teams.
4. Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar) with 5+ years of experience, or Associate's Degree (same focus) with 7+ years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Broad experience in Field Service or related roles, focusing on Critical Power Systems (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Distribution, Static Switch, Battery, and Power Conditioning Systems).
* OSHA 10, OSHA 30 training preferred.
* NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training preferred.
* Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NETA, NICET, CompTIA, ABB, APC, Eaton, Schneider Electric, etc.) preferred.
* Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
