Job Description
Within our Fluid connectors division, you lead the Defense and Aerospace activities internationally and coordinate dedicated teams at our various sites. You develop the commercial and marketing strategy and oversee its execution in our production and sales units worldwide. In this context, your tasks are as follows:
Market Development:
* Understand market trends, customer needs, and expectations
* Define and steer growth initiatives and contribute to the global marketing strategy of the cluster
* Work with the Development teams and product managers to tailor products/services to market specifics
* Coordinate marketing and sales teams to ensure effective marketing approaches, maximizing product visibility and impact
* Lead international teams, fostering collaboration/cohesion
* Ensure international operations comply with local and international defense regulations
* Implement performance indicators to monitor the success of initiatives and adjust the strategy accordingly.
* Target companies for mergers and acquisitions to strengthen our market position
Product Marketing:
* Define the target value proposition for its market to R&D, Marketing, Product Manager, Technical Support, and Supply Chain.
* Build the Marketing plan with the teams
Strategy Management:
* Validate and adapt the market strategy into action plans by target market segment
* Facilitate work sessions with sales team units to gain their buy-in for market growth initiatives
* Analyze sales and marketing results and adjust the strategy as necessary
* Report commercial performance and sales forecasts to Management.
* Communicate forecasts for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning)
Sales, Marketing, and Pricing Strategy:
* Promote a client-centered culture within commercial and marketing teams
* Define a global pricing policy taking into account regional market expectations and participate in offer construction to maximize profitability while remaining competitive
* Contribute to the development of sales plans, the design of the marketing plan for its market, and its monitoring
* Define the target, priority/strategic clients, and deploy initiatives to be implemented
* Manage certain key client accounts and, as necessary, lead commercial opportunity negotiations in coordination with impacted sales directors
Mobility: Frequent international travel (20%)
Qualifications
Education: Bac+5 in Technical or scientific field
Experience: Minimum 10 years in a similar role in the defense sector
Special skills:
* In-depth knowledge of the defense market (applications, clients, solutions, export control) and specific commercial/strategic/operational marketing processes for the market
* Expertise in the regulatory and normative aspects of targeted activities
* Fundamental knowledge in corporate finance
* Proficiency in IT tools (Office 365, business software, collaborative tools)
* Knowledge of the aerospace market is an advantage
Foreign language: Strong proficiency in English
