Customer Research & Insight Manager
Location – York, Norwich, Bristol or London based (50% hybrid working)
Salary: circa £50,000 (national) - circa £60,000 (London)
We’re looking for a Customer Research & Insight Manager to join our Customer Insight team and help us make smarter, more customer‑focused decisions about how we communicate and build our brand.
A bit about the job
In this role, you’ll work with the Customer Insight Lead with the design and deliver high‑quality primary research with a strong focus on communications development, creative testing and brand health. You’ll work closely with major research partners to run studies end‑to‑end, ensuring we get robust insight that helps us understand what resonates with customers and why.
You’ll support teams across Brand, Marketing, Comms and Strategy, testing ideas, refining messages, evaluating creative work and helping track how our brand is performing over time. You’ll turn data into clear, practical recommendations that help us make confident decisions and create communications that truly work for our customers.
We’re looking for someone who’s curious, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment. Someone with solid hands‑on brand research experience, great stakeholder skills, and a real interest in how brands show up and grow.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
* Solid hands‑on experience delivering primary research projects (quant, qual or mixed‑method).
* Strong skills in survey design, fieldwork management and data analysis.
* Experience working with large research suppliers.
* Ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights.
* Proven experience working with brand, comms, creative or strategy teams and managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
What you’ll get
* Salary around £50,000 (national) - £60,000 (London) - depending on skills, experience, and qualifications
