Role Summary
Solutions4Health is an innovative organization dedicated to tackling health inequalities. We are seeking an enthusiastic Stop Smoking Adviser who will motivate and support clients in their journey to quit smoking.
Smokefree Blackburn with Darwen is a community stop smoking service commissioned by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
Join our dynamic team as an admin support officer, where you will be a key contact for service users, stakeholders, and partners. Your role involves coordinating appointments, managing data, and supporting our Stop Smoking Advisors. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our services run smoothly and make a positive impact on the community’s health.
The role requires high organization levels, excellent communication skills, IT literacy, local knowledge, and a positive customer service approach. The successful candidate should have a passion for helping others, a good understanding of public health interventions, and competent IT and administrative skills.
All team members undergo comprehensive training to ensure high standards and evidence-based practice. Full training will be provided.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Monitor the secure email inbox, process referrals and general inquiries efficiently within designated timescales.
* Contact referrals to triage and book relevant appointments with advisors.
* Respond to phone calls, voicemails, and callbacks appropriately.
* Maintain accurate data entry and database management.
* Process invoices for timely payments.
* Provide administrative support to the Service Coordinator and Stop Smoking Advisors.
* Offer support, information, and advice to service users and health professionals.
* Identify and escalate clinical queries appropriately.
* Handle complaints sensitively and escalate as needed.
* Collect and store service user feedback and case studies.
* Assist with social media content creation and scheduling.
* Organize conferences and training days, including registration and resources.
* Order promotional materials as needed.
* Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and data analysis for reviews and reporting.
* Manage device calibration, PAT testing, and maintenance.
* Support quality standards and good office practices, including data protection.
* Maintain manual and digital filing systems and keep clinic rotas updated.
* Explain the principles of Stop Smoking to callers and potential clients.
* Motivate and empower clients to change behaviors during consultations.
* Attend team meetings and training to support personal development.
