Position
A community staff nurse in the Central Locality District Nursing Team based at Ailsa Hospital, Ayr.
Hours
Monday‑Friday 0830‑1700 with weekend working commitment. Fixed term for one year.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
* UK driving licence (full, valid UK/EU/EEA).
* Experience in community nursing preferred.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative, as a lone worker in various community settings.
* Strong time‑management and basic IT skills.
* Willingness to undertake appropriate training and personal development.
What You Will Do
Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for a variety of client groups in the community. Manage caseload in absence of the Charge Nurse, including supervision and deployment of staff. Provide evidence of personal development and undertake training as required.
