£13.30 per hour
4 on / 4 off | Nights | 6:00pm – 6:00am
Full-time | Ongoing contract
Vital People are recruiting an experienced Stock Controller (Nights) to join a fast-paced warehouse operation in Beeston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control experience who is confident working night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and WIP stock
Carry out daily cycle counts and periodic/annual stocktakes
Use WMS systems (Vision, M3, Excel, Factory Track) to monitor, manage, and investigate stock discrepancies
Produce variance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, year-end)
Identify and report slow-moving and obsolete stock
Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO)
Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders
Operate Counterbalance forklift truck as required
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (in-date and accredited)
Proven experience in stock control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Confident using inventory systems and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with manual handling tasks
