Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager – SSNA

What you’ll be doing:
1. Undertake all Governance & Delegation of Authority related responsibilities as nominated and approved by the Head of the Manufacturing Engineering
2. Ensure compliance with the Operational Framework and all Manufacturing Engineering policies
3. Ensure generation of achievable output solutions by Manufacturing Engineers
4. Identify and manage resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle
5. Perform engineering planning, management, and review activities
6. Review processes and procedures to reduce waste and improve efficiency
7. Responsible for new technology requirements approval and development
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Degree or equivalent experience
* Broad knowledge of Submarine Design and Build activities
* Previous line-management experience
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft office packages
* Communication and leadership skills

The Build Strategy team:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be managing teams of Manufacturing Engineers within the SSNA Build and Test Area. You will lead the Build Strategy team, The Production Line Optimisation team, and the Ops Major Area Integrated Team.
