Role Overview As a Buyer within our procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting and partnering with the wider business to deliver ongoing value whilst managing a critical supplier base. You will work collaboratively across multiple departments, ensuring effective communication and smooth procurement processes. Key Responsibilities Implement and optimise inventory management systems to maintain stock levels and reduce lead times for key lines. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and improved service levels. Support new product development by sourcing materials and components in line with project specifications. Raise purchase orders (POs) and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery. Coordinate collection and delivery schedules with the transport team. Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support the team. Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 and comfortable using CRM systems. Personal Attributes Capable of planning and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
