Description:
The purpose of this position is to support the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, training, compensation, and performance management.
Essential Functions:
1. Collaborate with HR on process improvements and special projects.
2. Assist with pre-employment processes such as reference checks, background, and drug tests.
3. Help maintain the performance review system to ensure reviews are timely and accurate.
4. Review resumes, interview applicants, and evaluate skills and qualifications.
5. Document completed training and research training and development content.
6. Benchmark compensation data to ensure alignment with job requirements.
7. Travel to other divisions as needed.
8. Maintain regular attendance; attendance is an essential job function.
Qualifications:
* Prefer 1-3 years of experience in HR functions.
* Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Skills and Certifications:
* Knowledge of standard business and HR practices.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding of interactions between HR processes such as benefits and payroll.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
