Cover Supervisors
We’re working in partnership with Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust, a family of respected secondary schools across the West Midlands, and we’re on the lookout for reliable, adaptable Cover Supervisors who can keep lessons on track when teaching staff are away.
This is a brilliant opportunity if you’re confident managing a classroom and want to gain more experience in education, ideal for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone who knows how to keep students engaged and learning.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the teacher
2. Managing behaviour and keeping students focused on tasks
3. Supporting learning across a range of subjects (no planning or marking required)
4. Working with a strong pastoral and SLT team who’ve got your back
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with young people ( schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work)
6. Strong presence and calm classroom management
7. Flexible, reliable, and confident across subjects and year groups
8. A passion for education and the energy to step up and lead

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
