Global Payroll Manager Join Our Team as a Global Payroll Manager! Our client, a dynamic organisation, is looking for a talented Global Payroll Manager to lead their payroll team and ensure smooth operations across multiple countries. What You'll Do: As the Global Payroll Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing payroll operations for approximately 370 employees across various locations, including Germany, Tokyo, China, and more. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Team and report directly to the Global Tax Manager. Your key responsibilities will include: Payroll Operations: Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing across all jurisdictions. Manage payroll-related benefits such as retirement savings and health insurance. Process employee changes, including new hires and departures. Approve BACS files for employee payments and address payroll queries. Coordinate with third-party payroll providers and maintain payroll files in compliance with local regulations. Compliance & Statutory Reporting: Ensure payroll compliance with local tax laws and statutory requirements. Support the preparation and submission of statutory reports. Provide legislative advice to HR and internal stakeholders. Maintain robust internal controls for audit readiness. Project & Systems Management: Lead the implementation of new payroll systems and enhancements. Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and practises. Accounting & Financial Planning: Review monthly payroll journals and maintain a schedule of non-payroll staff costs. Deliver comprehensive payroll reports and assist in financial planning and budgeting. What We're Looking For: Essential Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll operations, tax regulations, and compliance in an international setting. Proven experience in managing a payroll team in a multi-currency environment. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll data processing. Familiarity with payroll software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
