Male Bank Support Worker Location: Blackpool Pay: £14.50 per hour Hours: 08:00am – 08:00pm with sleep-ins available We’re looking for a flexible, compassionate person to join a friendly support team working with a gentleman who is living with an acquired brain injury following a road traffic accident. About the Role: The person being supported enjoys a relaxed pace of life and values companionship, routine, and getting out and about in the local community. This is a one-to-one support role. About the Person Being Supported: Enjoys spending time at the pub, playing pool, and visiting the bookies Likes a relaxed environment and good conversation Smokes in the home (clean and well-kept environment) Communicates clearly and appreciates respectful, supportive interaction Values people who are down-to-earth, consistent, and respectful Key parts of the role include: Supporting mobility with patience and encouragement (uses a walker but is independently mobile) Taking to social outings (pool, pub meals, bookmakers, etc.) – mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile Companionship at home and during activities Light support with daily living tasks Promoting independence and choice What We’re Looking For: A confident driver with access to a car Someone patient, steady, and reliable Able to work flexibly across days and occasional sleep-ins Experience is welcome but not essential – the right attitude matters most More about Acuity Care Group We have been around for nearly 20 years so know our stuff!
