The Headteacher is seeking to appoint an English teacher to join this thriving specialist school. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, and ensuring the department and school achieve their aims. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and determined individual who shares our values and is eager to develop their career in this specialist area.
Who are we looking for?
We seek a qualified Teacher. Experience within a SEMH/SEN specialist provision is desirable, but applications from those currently working in mainstream or college settings will also be considered.
Training and development will be provided based on the school's needs, the individual's skills, and career aspirations.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Plan and deliver well-structured lessons.
2. Manage classes effectively with approaches suited to students’ needs to motivate them.
3. Manage student anxiety to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
4. Understand assessment requirements for your subject and curriculum, including statutory assessments.
5. Experience teaching at any key stage.
6. Maintain a dedicated work ethic to meet all students' needs.
7. Be passionate about making learning effective and enjoyable.
8. Qualified in subject specialism (Desired).
