The Role
MAG’s Finance & Accounting (F&A) team is seeking a permanent F&A Assistant Accountant. You will support the F&A Finance Manager, responsible for leading management accounting activities for the Stansted Division. Your role involves producing accurate, timely, and robust management accounts in line with group standards, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
What Will Make You Successful
You should be at least AAT qualified or a part-qualified accountant studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with ambition and a proactive attitude. You will engage with business stakeholders effectively, manage multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure. Relevant experience in a General Ledger function, familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems, and strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced) are essential.
