We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team at The Eglinton Arms Hotel.
This hands-on role involves the preparation and service of high-quality dishes across both our restaurant and banqueting operations. You will play a key part in maintaining standards, delivering consistency, and helping us elevate our food offering to new levels.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering high-quality food for restaurant and banqueting service
Supporting the Head Chef in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen
Assisting with stock control, order placing, and kitchen paperwork
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
Working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Contributing ideas to help improve menus and kitchen operations
About You
We are looking for a chef who:
Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality
Possesses strong attention to detail
Thrives under pressure in a busy kitchen
Works well as part of a team
Has experience in high-volume kitchen operations
Demonstrates speed, organisation, and consistency in service
Experience:
? Minimum 4 years cooking experience (preferred)
