Are you a proactive, hands-on professional with a knack for staying organised in fast-paced environments? We’re looking for a Commercial Estate & Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team - supporting a diverse range of sites across Dorset, from operational yards to modern office spaces.
About the Role
As our Commercial Estate & Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in keeping our sites running smoothly. From managing contractors and supporting health & safety compliance, to helping tenants and colleagues get the most out of their workspaces, you’ll be right at the heart of it all.
You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day facilities queries, contract coordination, and ensuring compliance across a varied commercial estate. Every day will bring something different. Whether it’s dealing with urgent repairs, liaising with service providers, or supporting long-term planning across the region.
You’ll join a friendly, collaborative Estates team with wider links across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall. We’re a team that values teamwork, initiative, and practical problem-solving — and we’re looking for someone who feels the same.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and communicates clearly. You'll need to be able to work independently, but also enjoy being part of a supportive team that works across departments and regions.
Essential Skills & Experience
To be shortlisted, your application must demonstrate:
* Experience in estates, facilities, property management, or a related field
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Experience working with budgets
* Ability to prioritise a busy workload and respond quickly to changing demands
* A full driving licence and willingness to travel across Dorset (and occasionally further afield)
What’s in it for me
We invest in our colleagues because we know if they have a better day at work, the service our customers receive will be better. The Aster Offer is our offer to our colleagues to ensure they have a great day at work and includes things like:
* Flexible working – whilst this role has duties that will need to be carried out in a specific place at a specific time, where possible we encourage our colleagues to work to their own schedule at a location that suits them, their team and our business’ needs
* A focus on colleague wellbeing – workshops, an employee assistance programme offering counselling and support, mental health training and a health cash plan
* We invest in colleagues’ careers and development through our leader and colleague development frameworks
* Defined Contribution Pension and attached life assurance
* Volunteering hours available to all colleagues to enable them to give back
* Savings at cinemas, gyms, holidays, days out, various shops and eateries and lots more
* Enhanced leave
* We celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond with a range of personalised recognition initiatives.
Why Join Us?
This is more than just a facilities role — it’s an opportunity to make a real impact across a diverse and evolving estate. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being part of a collaborative regional team, this could be your perfect next step.
Apply now and tell us how your experience matches what we’re looking for. We can't wait to hear from you!
Aster is not a sponsorship organisation and all candidates will be required to verify their right to work in the UK prior to commencement of employment with the Aster Group & it’s subsidiary brands.
