You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners. Our Stockport team includes over adidas employees working across Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & more.
What you’ll do.
High performing individuals within the adidas sales team are responsible for executing strategies and business efforts that deliver the company's goals. They use their experience and knowledge to manage or support the team and contribute to shared business objectives. They continuously develop their leadership skills by tackling new challenges. They create clarity, confidence, and provide recommendations to enable tough decisions and foster a culture of high performance and belonging. SKAMs & KAMs work collaboratively within internal and external functions to achieve the best results.
The skills you’ll need for a role within our sales team:
Brand Ambassadorship & Account Management:
Brand Representation: Embody our brand values when interacting with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Account Management:
Understanding Accounts: Know the specifics, nuances, preferences, and pain points of assigned accounts.
Strategic Planning: Develop and document account strategies in strategic account plans.
Sell-Out & Order Book: Monitor sell-out data and manage orders efficiently.
Trade Terms Negotiation: Negotiate and implement trade terms beneficial to both parties.
An entrepreneurial mindset drives opportunities to increase net sales and market share away from competitors.
Leadership & Reporting:
Skill Development: Mentor and coach your direct reports to enhance their skills.
Effective Reporting: Regularly report progress and provide accurate plans and forecasts for customer performance.
Internal Advocacy: Act as an internal ambassador, advocating for your accounts’ needs.
