The ALLIANCE is excited to be recruiting a Digital and Communications Officer.
The Digital and Communications Officer will have a blend of technical expertise and communication skills to support the ALLIANCE’s digital and communications presence. They will support the delivery of the ALLIANCE’s Communications and Engagement Strategy, ensuring all campaigns and communications are high quality, effective, and professional.
The post holder will raise awareness and maintain a high profile for ALLIANCE programmes and activities across various channels, ensuring activities are tailored and measurable for our members and stakeholders.
The successful candidate should have:
* Experience in content creation and posting to increase engagement on social media
* Experience with analytics to track and improve digital performance
* Experience in crafting compelling content for newsletters, websites, and tracking metrics
* Experience in stakeholder engagement, liaising with partners and external organizations
* Experience in content management for websites and online platforms like YouTube
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively and innovatively as part of a team
* Experience engaging people in interactive and creative ways
* Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities and non-discrimination
* Strong understanding of accessibility issues
* Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* IT skills in Word, email, internet, and databases

This is a fixed-term, part-time role (17.5 hours/week) based in Glasgow. Flexibility in working hours is expected, with travel across Scotland and occasional additional hours, reimbursed through the Time off in Lieu scheme.
