Overview
We are part of the @one Alliance, a collaborative organisation made up of eight partner companies delivering a significant portion of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. We are preparing for AMP8, with a focus on nature-based solutions and innovative project delivery. We are looking for BIM Technicians to join our Water team on the Nitrates project.
What you will be doing
* Produce advanced 3D designs and models related to Civil, Structural, and Mechanical design of water assets in a timely and accurate fashion.
* Create 3D models and drawings that comply with local and national standards using BIM applications such as Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks and Recap.
* Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and support cross-functional work across the Alliance to meet project requirements and drive efficient delivery.
* Contribute to pre-construction Health and Safety planning, including risk assessments, and update plans as appropriate.
* Ensure technical content aligns with agreed timescales and budgets.
* Participate in project reviews related to design, progress, and construction, providing constructive input to questions and challenges.
* Proactively research, present, and implement innovative processes and ways of working to optimise output.
What we are looking for
* Engineering diploma, degree, or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred).
* Proven proficiency in one or more of Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, and Recap.
* Ability to generate and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications; awareness of relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and PAS 1192 (or equivalent).
* Strong communication skills and a passion for solving design issues using technology.
* Ability to collaborate with multiple teams to deliver clear, CAD-based engineering solutions.
