About the Role:

* Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following national curriculum guidelines and incorporating a range of sports and physical activities.
* Plan and deliver lessons that foster athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, utilising a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fitness training, team sports, and individual activities.
* Assess student progress through practical assessments, fitness tests, and written work, providing detailed feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum, integrating current sports science and training techniques, and participate in departmental planning.
* Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, school teams, and sporting competitions, promoting student engagement and athletic excellence.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong PE subject knowledge, including sports science, fitness training, and coaching.
* Demonstrated experience teaching PE to A-Level, with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young male athletes.
* Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and athletic excellence.
