About the role
Working closely with the Business Improvement Project Manager, you will play a key role in analysing current transport arrangements, developing alternative transport options, and ensuring the Council achieves value for money while delivering high-quality, inclusive services.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to service transformation, improve outcomes for individuals and carers, and support the effective use of public resources.
About you
What you need:
1. Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
2. Experience of supporting projects and delivering to timescales
3. Experience of using a wide range of software packages to document, model and deliver projects, including project plans and reports.
4. An understanding of value-for-money principles and public sector accountability
5. The ability to work collaboratively across teams and organisations
6. A commitment to equality, safeguarding, health and safety, and environmental sustainability
Experience of working within local government, transport services, or learning disability services would be advantageous, but not essential.
