About the practice
As the resident Optometrist, your day will involve a mixture of routine eye examinations, enhanced clinical care, and patient-focused recommendations.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive sight tests
* Advising patients on eye health and visual solutions
* Managing contact lens appointments and aftercare
* Making appropriate referrals where required
* Working closely with Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants
* Supporting patients through their full optical journey
* Using modern clinical technology to support accurate diagnoses
* Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
* Delivering a high standard of customer care and professionalism
You will be supported by a strong front-of-house and dispensing team, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical delivery.
Testing times and clinical set up
* Testing times typically around 35 minutes
* Pre-screening completed by experienced support staff
