Role: Internal Sales & Account Executive
Reports to: Sales Director
Salary: 35-40k
Driving Licence: Required
Core Purpose
Drive revenue growth through a combination of proactive internal sales and effective account management. You will generate new business at pace while strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and high customer retention.
This is a high-activity, fast-moving role suited to someone who is organised, commercially sharp, and comfortable managing volume without sacrificing quality.
Core Responsibilities
Internal Sales (50%)
· Own outbound sales activity — calls, emails, and campaigns to generate new business
· Convert inbound enquiries into orders quickly and effectively
· Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline
· Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities
· Deliver against monthly activity and revenue targets
Account Management (50%)
· Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers
· Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts
· Conduct regular account reviews and maintain engagement
· Identify and convert growth opportunities within accounts
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
CRM & Pipeline Management
· Maintain accurate, real-time CRM records across all activity
· Track opportunities, log interactions, and manage pipeline progression
· Forecast revenue and report on performance and activity levels
· Operate with strong CRM discipline — no gaps, no outdated data
Collaboration
· Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams
· Support marketing campaigns and follow up on leads
· Feed customer insight back into the business to improve offering
Key Skills & Experience
Essential:
· Experience in sales and/or account management
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· Target-driven and commercially focused
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
· Proven ability to use CRM systems effectively
· Willing to travel to customers and be office-based
Desirable:
· Experience in a hybrid sales/account management role
· Fire industry or related sector experience

Package:
Hours: 7.30-16.00 (Office Based in North Cave, 5 days, unless as agreed by exception)
22 days Holiday
