Please note that this post is temporary. Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.
Work day will be on a Wednesday.
Please note you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when you apply for this post, but these are not required.
You should print off the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.
To ensure your application is accepted, it is essential that the Head Teacher's report is signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who completed the report, to the email address below.
It is also important to include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form.
The report should then be submitted by the Head Teacher who completed it to MThompson@castlehill.e-dunbarton.sch.uk prior to the closing date.
Failure to do so may result in the application being excluded from shortlisting.

PVG/Disclosure Scotland
The following criteria apply to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are required:
For posts considered Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.
Successful candidates will bear the cost of the check, which will be deducted from their first salary payment. In some cases, deductions may be made in installments following employment commencement, with approval from the HR & OD Manager.
If an employee leaves before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from their final salary.
This criteria also applies to existing employees applying for roles requiring PVG/Disclosure checks.
