This role involves selling garage equipment in the Scotland region, focusing on managing relationships with equipment distributors, ensuring they recommend Continental products, and speaking directly to the distributors' customers. Main tasks include:
* Managing distributors in the defined geographical area to maximize sales and address issues.
* Visiting and contacting distributors and their customers to inform them about products and services.
* Liaising with the Service team for smooth installation of equipment.
* Attending trade shows attended by Continental and distributors for lead generation.
* Supporting sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to meet targets.
* Preparing quotations and negotiating prices to maximize sales and profits.
* Providing market feedback to head office sales and marketing teams.
* Developing and delivering presentations to enhance the company’s image and sales.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of the garage equipment market.
* Strong experience managing the sales process.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Degree-level education preferred.
* Experience working on cross-sector and cross-functional projects.
* Experience collaborating with international teams, especially within a regional organization for a German HQ, is an advantage.
