About the role
As a member of our Communications and Marketing team, you will play a key role in communicating the Council's services and messages.
You will ensure residents, businesses, partners, and staff are informed about the latest news, decisions, and policies, and promote all Council services and support.
The role involves liaising with media, creating internal communications, and managing digital channels including social media.

What will you be doing?
You will support and promote the Council's work, working under the guidance of Senior Managers and collaborating with specialists on media and internal communications.
You will also handle administrative tasks to ensure the communication service operates efficiently.
About you
You should have experience in communications, with skills in copywriting, media relations, and social media.
You must be adaptable, creative, pragmatic, and able to communicate complex information clearly.
While supported by colleagues, you should be capable of working independently.
