Trainee Technician Are you interested in Structures & Pavements? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Technician to join our Structures & Pavements team. The role entails supporting our experts with the testing of Bridges, Structures, Car parks and Highways. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a specialised area, aid professional progression, and get stuck in with some exciting projects across the UK in a hands-on learning environment. You will also gain valuable knowledge through our senior staff, as well as completing industry standard training, such as confined space training, IPAF, PASMA, Abrasive Wheels, Street works and PTS. Due to the nature of the jobs you will undertake, there is a strong possibility of working away from home, therefore high levels of flexibility are essential. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): To undertake intrusive and non-intrusive investigations to Structures and Highways projects Assist with structural investigations on buildings, bridges, car parks Assist with pavement investigations including coring, trial pits and DCP s Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance Maintain company profile at all times To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Willing to comply with test procedures/standards, quality and health & safety requirements Ability to motivate self and team members to achievement of goals Reliable and diligent with a flexible approach to work Willing to learn Results focused individual.
