Office Location: Arlington Square, Bracknell (external role requires travel across the UK)
Reports To: Commercial Director
Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + 15K Commission (OTE based on experience) Car Allowance

We are now looking for a talented external business development manager to accelerate our growth, this field-based role requires meeting customers face to face to build engagement and demonstrate our products and solutions.
What Youll Be Doing
As an External BDM your focus will be to drive sales growth within an assigned list of accounts and to target new business creating engagement across our products and solutions.
This is a proactive sales and relationship management role, focused on customer retention, sales development, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
* Nurture strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers
* Conduct regular account reviews to uncover growth opportunities
* Understand customer needs and align solutions accordingly
* Build engagement across customers sales and technical teams to identify new opportunities.
* Plan and manage effective use of time to maximise number of meetings and sales team engagement.
Sales & Revenue Generation
* Identify new business opportunities within existing customer base
* Successfully plan, target and achieve sales targets across designated accounts
* Present and demonstrate onemedia products and solutions in an engaging and proactive manner.
* Develop existing customer base through proactive communication.
Customer Service Excellence
* Deliver high standards of customer engagement and responsiveness
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
* Build customer loyalty and advocacy
* Work closely with the team to ensure customers’ expectations are met.
What Were Looking For
Essential:
* Proven field-based sales experience and success in sales or B2B account management
* Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* Confident negotiator and closer, driven by results
* Organised and self-motivated with a commercial mindset
* Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce ideal) and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
* Familiarity with AV technology, digital signage, AV over IP, IPTV, Display Technology – Projection, LED, LFD.
* Existing network of industry contacts - integrators, resellers
