Senior Wholesale Sales Consultant (Specialty Coffee) – Part‑Time / Contract
We are a growing UK specialty coffee roastery supplying high‑quality coffee to cafés, offices, hospitality venues and retailers. We are now investing in wholesale sales and looking to grow in a structured and sustainable way.
This role works directly with the founder and plays a key part in shaping how our wholesale channel operates.
Role
We are looking for a Senior Wholesale Sales Consultant to help grow our B2B wholesale business and build the foundations for scale, with a primary focus on East Anglia and London‑based accounts.
This is a part‑time / contract role for someone who understands that strong sales comes from a combination of process, data, packaging, and relationships — not just closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and own the wholesale sales process, from lead generation through to onboarding
* Select, set up, and manage a CRM (we are open to recommendations and not fixed on any platform)
* Define and track clear KPIs and sales analytics, providing regular insight into pipeline and performance
* Identify, create, and manage leads and sales opportunities in East Anglia and London
* Proactively approach new wholesale customers (cafés, offices, restaurants, hotels)
* Own the sales journey end‑to‑end: outreach → meetings → trial → onboarding
* Work with the founder, internal team, and key suppliers to define and refine wholesale packages (coffee, equipment, service, pricing)
* Ensure CRM data is accurate, useful, and actionable
* Reactivate dormant customers and increase order frequency
* Provide clear, practical feedback on market response and sales performance
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in specialty coffee, hospitality, or food & beverage
* Experience setting up or improving CRM systems, KPIs, and sales reporting
* Comfortable building and managing a structured sales pipeline
* Strong understanding of London and/or East Anglia wholesale markets
* Commercial mindset with a focus on margin and long‑term customer value
* Self‑starter who works well with minimal supervision
Contract & Compensation
* Part‑time / contract role
* Monthly retainer: £1,500 – £2,000
* 10% commission on new wholesale revenue
* Flexible working hours
* Initial 3‑month engagement, with scope to extend or expand the role
Why This Role Is Interesting
* Ownership over how wholesale sales is built and measured
* Freedom to choose and implement the right tools and processes
* Direct access to the founder and fast decision‑making
* Opportunity to build something properly from the ground up
* Long‑term potential as the wholesale channel grows
