We are currently seeking several Junior Restaurant Area Managers who are open to relocating to coastal locations across the UK. Our client is an expanding group that offers both table and QSR services, with over 100 branded restaurants and bars nationwide. In this role, you will be responsible for managing six to ten restaurants and bars in specific locations, including new openings in 2024.
As a Junior Restaurant Area Manager, you will have overall responsibility for budgeting, P&L management, and stock control. This role offers a high level of autonomy to meet and exceed budget expectations, so we are looking for individuals who are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that our teams of managers and staff work together to achieve the area's targets. It is essential that you prioritize providing an excellent dining experience for our customers across all departments. You will need to thrive under pressure during peak periods, and our customer feedback surveys should reflect outstanding results.
To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of managing multiple high-volume branded restaurants or QSR operations. Outstanding leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a dynamic personality are crucial. Ideally, you should possess a strong sales background and be able to drive sales by coaching managers. Experience in profit and loss management is essential, as success in this role depends on your ability to deliver and manage both gross profit and bottom-line profit across the operation. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent people-management and administrative skills.
This position offers accommodation for a 6-month period to facilitate a smooth relocation, if necessary.
We provide highly rewarding incentives for exceptional performance. It is realistic to expect a bonus of at least 25% of your basic salary for surpassing bottom-line targets and achieving personal KPIs. The OTE (on-target earnings) for this role range from £60k to £70k.
