Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Camden, London
Full-time Role
Salary: £90 - £120 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Camden. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary based on experience, with a range of £85 to £120 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with a variety of special educational needs, ensuring they have access to a meaningful and engaging learning experience.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual students' needs.
* Provide one-on-one support for students with emotional, physical, or learning disabilities.
* Help create a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
* Work closely with other staff members and professionals to deliver the best support possible.
* Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to the teacher and other professionals as required.

Essential Criteria:

* At least 1 year of experience working in a special needs school.
* A strong passion for working with children with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to be patient, flexible, and empathetic when supporting students.
* A proactive and positive approach to work.
* Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be advantageous, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
